Policy
Our policy aim is responsible long-term management of Tasmania’s natural and cultural resources, including for the preservation of significant natural and cultural values, which will place Tasmania in the forefront of environmental conservation and sustainable management. Specific goals include changed administrative arrangements and improved funding for the Parks & Wildlife Service, development of an environmentally sustainable tourism policy, and respect for reserve management plans and objectives.
