This issue of TNPA News contains two articles on the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage area (TWWHA). One describes the drafting of a formal UNESCO Statement of Outstanding Universal Value for the TWWHA, a major step forward. On a less positive note is a description of the land tenure mess within parts of the TWWHA. Another article reflects on the increasing commercial orientation of some of Tasmania’s best-known tracks.
