This issue of TNPA News contains articles analysing a number of significant issues, from current and proposed changes to the approval process for developments within our parks and reserves; the lack of up-to-date management plans for most of Tasmania’s reserve estate; to an update of visitor numbers; and the registration system for some of our remote bushwalking tracks. We also include a tribute to Anni McCuaig (senior planner in PWS for many years), mentor and friend to many in the Tasmanian conservation sector and staunch defender of our wild places, who passed away recently.
